It is difficult to ignore the temptation to just sit down on a bench and listen to the people. Each region produces its own local specialities, adding on to your outstanding holiday.
What counts for the Italian cuisine counts for its wine. A good Barolo has to come from the vineyards in the North, Vernaccia has to have its origins in San Gimignano in Tuscany. You will enjoy the Mediterranean feeling everywhere; here, you will unwind in the fresh air, seated on the terrace or the balcony of your holiday home, relaxing by the pool, on the beach or inland.

Tuscan delicacies
Explore the famous local cuisine of a small Trattoria, with its specialities like truffles and ceps, the "Bistecca Fiorentina" or the "Cacciucco" fish soup by the coast. Stroll along the market and watch the hustle and bustle, drinking a cappuccino in a bar in the morning or nipping at a drink on the piazza in the evening.
Take part, dip in and enjoy the particular "Tuscan" lifestyle.
Luxury Villa Arezzo and CortonaThe "Casentino" is, amid the Tuscan valleys, the most isolated and most hemmed in. Its position has enabled it to maintain, more than any other part, its traditions and its characteristics: an abundance of agricultural crops, thick woods and forests and meadows on the slopes of mountains. Within this frame which is still in a natural uncontaminated state there is a strong and mystical influence exerted over places such as the convent at Verna and the hermitage of Camaldoli.
However the Casentino is also the region of small towns, at the same time isolated and tranquil but also full of history and art; Arezzo, famous for its ancient and renowned goldsmiths, provides its visitors with many jewels. Piazza Grande is one of the most beautiful squares in Tuscany, which in June and September hosts the "Giostra del Saracino" (joust in Medieval costume) and where on the first Sunday of each month there is the Arezzo antiques fair.
Etruscan walls surround Cortona which dominates the Chiana valley while overlooking Lake Trasimeno. Its steep urban layout, dominated by its sandstone walls, gives it its fascination factor.
Renting a luxury villa in Arezzo or Cortona will give you rich opportunity to relax and experience the real italian way of life
Luxury Villa Florence
Florence is surrounded by charming hills between the upper and lower Arno Valley, situated amidst olive groves, pine trees and cypresses. The valleys and hills with their Patrician and luxury villas are equally fascinating.
There is an impressive view from Fiesole, situated high above the hill, down to the Florentine basin. The areas around the Pratogmano and Mugello slopes offer refreshing walks through the forests. In addition, they are an ideal starting point to visit Machiavelli's town and offer you the possibility to explore the particular emotions that are created by the countless historical villages and hamlets dotted into the green hills.
Spending your vacation in one of our luxury villas in Florence you will be close to the rural specialities of the Tuscan cuisine, served in romantic restaurants amidst the peaceful Florentine scenery.
Luxury Villa Chianti
Looking for a suitable villa for you to spend an unforgettable holiday in Chianti? You will find a wide range of luxury villas within the Cuendet brand. You can enjoy the unique landscape, with green, gentle hills clad in vineyards which are particularly enchanting as are its oak, chestnut and holm-oak forests.
Chianti is famous both for its scenery and for the fruits its land bears. The exquisite wine which is produced here, whose origins can be traced back to the Etruscan era, has indeed given this region its prestige and international reputation.
Just imagine the feeling of enjoying a glass of wine from your luxury villa in the Chianti region!
The Chianti area is protected by two important consortiums: the Consorzio del Vino Chianti Classico (the Chianti Classico wine consortium) and il Consorzio del Gallo Nero (the black rooster consortium) the latter deriving its name from the historical Lega del Chianti (Chianti league) founded in the 13th century by the towns of Castellina, Radda and Gaiole.
The beautiful Chianti hamlets often let you come face to face with fortified Medieval castles which bear witness to the ancient historical battles between Siena and Florence but Romanesque parish churches can be found on the gently rolling hills of this countryside too. From Greve travelling past acre after acre of vineyards and uncontaminated forests you will reach Radda in Chianti which was once the capital of the Chianti league as well as the watershed between the Pesa valley and that of the Arbia valley.
Luxury Villa Siena
Siena extends over three hills, between the Elsa valley and the Arbia valley, with a scenic and fascinating backdrop of gently rolling hills making it one of the most beautiful in Tuscany and indeed of all of Italy. It was its trade in fabrics, spices and wines which enabled it to become wealthy and powerful. Today Siena, surrounded by seven kilometres of still intact city walls, stands out proudly to the eyes of its visitors from all around the world who come here to admire its beauty. Symbol and heart of the city is Piazza del Campo, with its particular semicircular shape also defined as a shell shape and where twice a year a horse race is run.
Within Piazza del Campo is the gothic Palazzo Pubblico (town hall) and the very ancient Mangia tower from whose lofty heights, after having climbed up some 503 steps, you can dominate over the rooftops of Siena's houses, towers and belfries and enjoy the panoramic view over the unforgettable, verdant green hills that surround Siena.
Just a bit further south is the Orcia valley, part of Siena's territory, with its enchanting scenery, famous for its gently rolling hills and pearls such as the hamlets of Montepulciano, home to the wine with the same name, then there is Pienza and finally Montalcino whose most prestigious grapes produce the renowned Brunello di Montalcino.

The Lazio region is often only associated with Rome but you will find mystic and idyllic scenery and hidden artefacts also in the surroundings of the historical Mecca.
Tuscia and the Alban Hills, tuff hillsides of volcanic origin, stick out in the northern and southeastern part of the region, thanks to their deep ravines and beautifully blue glittering crater lakes. The Chalk Apennines with their highest peak, the Terminillo, dominate Lazio's mountains in the East.
Vines, lined up in terraces, silver shimmering olive groves, green oak-, beech- and chestnut forests and lemon trees resemble the landscape in the South. The plains, however, are dominated in early summer by the colourful, wild and lovely fragrant flowers.
Besides its varied scenery, the Lazio region offers many small medieval villages, where you can enjoy the traces of the Etruscan culture, colourful Roman baths, magnificent sandy beaches, while staying in your luxury villa!
Thanks to its impressing cultural artefacts, charming landscapes, gorgeous idylls and antique atmospheres, Lazio guarantees enough space for both individuality and change.
Luxury Villa Rome
Visiting Rome, the Eternal city, entails reading in a moment's breath three millenniums of history but also its outskirts are worth being visited: Lake Bracciano and the lovely Castelli Romani, ancient fortified hamlets built by the aristocratic families of the Lazio region during the Medieval wars and built on the volcanic hills of the "Colli Albani" also dotted with sumptuous 16th century villas that were ordered to be built by the Popes and Roman princes.
Towns such as Ariccia, Velletri and Frascati, which have maintained the festive fascination typical of trips to the country and visitors are rewarded by the sweet smelling bouquets of the dry white wines which are produced here.
Lake Bolsena also has many wine and gastronomic specialities to tempt you with. The lake itself is Italy's largest crater- based basin and is surrounded by woods, vineyards and olive groves set out on terracings and, of course, full of very important Etruscan and Medieval remains. Bomarzo, a town built by the Etruscans, is famous for its so-called Monster park, a fantastic route full of larger than life grotesque stone built figures dating back to the 16th century.

Within the city walls of Urbino, once the capital of the noble Duchy of Montefeltro, you will find some of the most prestigious examples of the Italian Renaissance.
